The College Officer, College of Applied Food Science and Tourism (CAFST) has the pleasure to welcome both old and new students of the college.Thank God for spearing our lives to see this year, a year of consolidated progress.
Please be challenged to focus on the objective that brought you to Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike Abia State Nigeria. The journey of academic achievement is hinged on business before pleasure. Therefore be properly guided and committed to your academics. Be available for your studies, tackle your assignments, and shun examination malpractice and other vices. Keep your matriculation oats and before long you will convoke.
For the fresh students, please shine your eyes and avoid distractors, A good name is better than perfumed ointment. Honour God and expect His blessings. You are lifted for life! Jesus is the way, the truth and life. John 14:6.

COLLEGE PRIZES AND AWARDS
It may interest you to hear that at the last convocation, one CAFST student won the price for the best graduating student in the University. Then at the 6th convocation ceremony held on Saturday 22nd November, 2014 another CAFST student won the best graduating students award.
