Prof. Nneoma Obasi started her career as a Graduate Assistant, in 1999 at the Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike from where she rose to the rank of a Professor in 2018.

Prof. Nneoma Obasi studied at the Federal Government Girls College Owerri, Nigeria. Then at the Federal University of Technology Owerri, where she obtained a BSc. and a PhD in Food Science and Technology. Her MSc. was completed from Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike, Nigeria.  She also has a PGD in Theology from the Redeemed Bible College, Lagos.
